I've been doing functional programming in a mix of Scala and Haskell for 10 years and enjoy thinking about (and building) new programming technology. I like programming tech that is simple, delightful, and helps programmers focus on the fun parts of software creation.

I currently work on the Unison language, which I started as a crazy research project about 4 years ago and which I'm so excited is becoming a real thing. Come chat with me and let me know what you think (good or bad)! I also enjoy hearing about other people's experiences building software and what they like or don't like about existing tools.

Before working on Unison, I was a coauthor of the book "Functional Programming in Scala" and also creator of the FS2 library in Scala.
